The origins of the Altraverdian flag are attributed to the first Altravedian Kingdom initially established by those who had settled the region in the first era of humanities conquest of the stars. After multiple wars and revolutions Altraverdias flag was changed to incorporate the red arrow, a symbol to honor the fallen heroes who had given their lives in defence of Altraverdia, with the new emblem featuring a gear and riles symbolizing the path of war and innovation. The new flag now serves as a constant reminder to its people of their bloody history, and the importance of the sacrifice of their forefathers.
Since the official establishment of the Altraverdian Republic, the existence of religion has died out, with many turning their focus on to innovation and the ways of science, with only now a handful of individual groups still openly practising their faith, many of which have ties to the Order of Crusading Brother of Terra.
