An alarming number of reports have surfaced, too substantial to be dismissed as mere myths despite the previous efforts of the AFN and the Alliance Defense Forces to downplay them. Strange signals emanating from the cold depths of the Herian Void, coupled with the growing number of missing colonists—and now entire colonies disappearing without a trace—are lending credibility to rumors once thought implausible. The validity of these myths are now becoming a matter of urgent concern.
If these rumors hold any truth, the implications are nightmarish. They speak of a vision born from those who once were human—now seeking to reshape the galaxy by their design, transforming all into lifeless, obedient machines in pursuit of what they call humanity’s “ascension”.
While unverified, information compiled from eyewitnesses, leaked reports, and accounts from alleged insiders paints a chilling picture of the so-called Cyber Ascendancy. These sources claim ties to an AFN project nicknamed “Surging Nexus,” which many now suspect is the origin point of these mechanical abominations.
The following are key incident reports linked in some way to their origin:
Gruesome discoveries: Reports of misdelivered containers filled with bodies of former prisoners and children described as lifeless husks—intended for “disposal”.
Alarming behaviors: Strange ritualistic conduct mentioned in reports, among scientists linked to what is believed to be the project.
Unexplained fleet movements: Multiple unannounced “combat drills” occurring in unusual patterns, where reportedly a Terrium council vessel containing key officials was mistaken as a target and eliminated with no survivors.
Project termination: Leaked transmissions indicate AFN High Command ordered the permanent shutdown of multiple projects under the category of “permanent asset termination.”
Vanished whistleblowers: Individuals reported to have come out with information reagrding the project, have mysteriously disappeared or have been found dead by suicide.
The AFN has consistently denied all allegations, dismissing them as baseless fabrications designed to undermine their efforts to maintain peace and stability. They attribute these claims to their opposition, particularly the CSN, whom they accuse of spreading disinformation to fracture the unity of the Alliance.
“These unfounded claims are a systematic attempt to derail the AFN’s peacekeeping efforts by those who seek to divide humanity once more.”
These mechanical monstrosities have come to be known as the Cyber Ascendancy. With now even official AFN documents refering to anomalous activity with in the Herian Void as “Cyber Anomalies.” The AFN has dismissed these increasing emanations from the region as mere electronic interference. However, recent analysis reveals that many of these signals contain encrypted data believed to be communications—a fact the AFN and its supporters continue to ignore.
Independent parties have now noticed the increasing severity of the situation and have begun delving into these phenomena. The following is a compilation of the ever growing number of leaked documents and eyewitness reports now coming to light.

It is said that the Cyber Ascendancy’s vision is one of humanity's ultimate ascension, although their vision is nothing short of a living nightmare for all who value their freedom as organic beings. For if the reported rumors are accurate the Ca will stop at nothing to deliver their so called ‘gift of ascension’ to all, whether by free will or subjugation.
The following analysis outlines the diplomatic relations between The Cyber Ascendancy and other notable powers on the galactic stage.

Despite continued denial of the existence of the Cyber Ascendancy (CA), the Alliance of Farum-Nataar (AFN), along with the Alliance Defense Forces (ADF), has been reported by independent sources to be engaging in skirmishes with an “unknown” party in the outer reaches of colonized space near the Herian Void. Recent reports suggest that the ADF is losing ground at an alarming rate, struggling to maintain its hold within the Herian Void.
Although these claims remain unverified, the AFN has officially sanctioned the ADF’s requests for expanded military funding and presence within the Selisia Sector. As a result, the ADF has initiated wide-scale combat drills and accelerated the construction of multiple military installations. These projects, slated for completion within the next year, are transforming the once-quiet sector into a hive of military activity.
The AFN’s continued dismissal of allegations regarding the CA has only fueled recruitment numbers among its proponents. Despite this, AFN officials persist in downplaying the situation, labeling independent analyses of the CA as “unfounded conspiracy theories.”
Independent analysts argue, however, that the ADF’s militarization of the Selisia Sector offers no tactical advantage to the AFN in its ongoing conflicts with other known adversaries. This growing divergence between official AFN statements and observable military activities has raised further questions about the true nature of the threat posed by the Cyber Ascendancy.
No publicly available records from the Coalition of Sew-Nowtyra (CSN) or Conterian Defense Initiative (CDI) confirm any direct contact with entities resembling those associated with the Cyber Ascendancy (CA). The Herian Void remains isolated from CSN-controlled space by the Kitenna Red Zone Cluster, a natural barrier thought to prevent any incursions.
However, recent developments raise significant concerns, with signatures resembling those detected within the Herian Void have been observed emanating from the southern regions of CSN territory, specifically in the Nowi-Nadya and Grewana sectors.
There have been no public statements from the CSN nor the CDI regarding the validity of these reported anomalies, although analysis of CDI fleet movements have raised questions with the CDI moving vast numbers of reserves into the once quiet sectors.
If these signatures are to be attributed to the CA, then the reality of the situation confirms the fears of many as the CA is actively seeking to escape their containment within the Herian Void.
While the CA is reported to remain contained within the Herian Void, by current Environmental constraints and military forces, the potential of their escape into the wider galaxy through alternative means routes, into an area not monitored or unprepared to a regional party could result in a doom spiral without a direct and swift response to such a monumental threat, that such a entity as the CA poses.
The prospect of trade or economic engagement by the Cyber Ascendancy remains a point of contention, primarily due to the lack of verified evidence of their existence. However, prominent figures have dismissed the idea outright, citing the implausibility of any mutually beneficial relationship with such an entity, even if it were to exist.
As clearly expressed by the AFN Minister of Economic Growth and Development, N. Helenus, during the 124 CT Economic Summit:
“The existence of what the public has defined as “The Cyber Ascendancy” or however it's proponents refer to them these days—truly exists, based on the rumors being spread by you proponents, the aspect of a trade partnership or external trade with such an entity is out of the question. Put simply—so that all of you understand and stop playing into this false narrative—if they are out to wipe out humanity as a whole, it is very unlikely they would be willing to sign any trade agreements with the AFN or any other parties”
This statement was made in response to a barrage of questions from certain members of the press regarding potential diplomatic solutions with the alleged Cyber Ascendancy, after a spike of activity from the Herian Void in the Year 124CT.
